Dear Entrepreneur: If You Were Your Bravest Self, What Would You Be Doing?

Dear Entrepreneur,

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to dream big? When have you stopped work to think about where you want to take your precious business in the next year, the next five years or even ten?

We are so bogged down with the everyday hustle. There never seems to be enough time or energy. We are creating new content, building relationships, serving our clients, posting on social media… the to-do list is never ending. We are caught up IN the business. In the every day. In the daily minutia.

I encourage you to make the space and give yourself the grace of envisioning where you want to go next. Brain dump all those wild and crazy ideas. Don’t get caught up with the I can’ts or the I don’t haves. Be open and daring and dig deep into your heart’s desires. Allow yourself to reach for the stars. Start by asking yourself: If you were your bravest self, what would you be doing? Who would you be surrounded with? Where would you be? What will it feel like?

Paint the picture in your head. Write down some thoughts in your journal. Maybe create a vision board. Be bold and tell a friend or two. Put it out in the universe and use it as a future destination for your business. But make the time to do it!

It’s easy to focus only on the daily runnings of our business. That is our comfort zone. It’s more challenging and definitely more scary to set BIG goals and dreams for ourselves. But that is where the growth and the magic happens.

There is more out there for you and your business. I believe in YOU and your dreams.

Dream bigger,

  • Thank you for this! This is the first thing I’m doing tomorrow xoxo

  • Awesome article! We all. We’d this reminder to set time aside to dream big for our businesses, then take some time to make an action plan to turn it into a reality! We shouldn’t let the fear of failure hold us back, for we are entrepreneurs (aka business superheroes) 🙂
