Yeah, I know. “It’s already November again?!” I can’t believe it either. I’m positive time moves faster as each year passes. However, here we are. We can’t turn back the clocks, so it’s best to get a head start on buying those gifts before the holidays are upon us. While everyone tends to have their own unique items on their list, I’ve compiled some of my favorite items that I feel can apply to a large number of men this year. If you’re stuck on what to get a man in your life this holiday season, hopefully this list will put you on the right track when it comes to gifts for men!

1.) Wallet
I don’t need a lot when it comes to a wallet. I like something smaller (because I keep my wallet in my front pocket) that can still hold all the essentials, and that’s well-made to withstand everyday use. The Odyssey Slim Wallet from Story Leather [c/o] meets those requirements, plus its minimalistic design makes it a great choice for any occasion.
2.) Thermos
We all need to drink. With that being said, why not keep our drinks at the desired temperature for as long as possible? Whether we need to keep coffee or tea hot while we’re at work, or we need to keep water or a sports drink cold throughout a workout, this vacuum insulated bottle from Thermos is a safe bet to do the job.
3.) Jacket
If you’re anything like me, it can be difficult to find a jacket that fits comfortably. On top of that, I prefer something that’s slightly more flashy than the average jacket. Combine those two things, and that leaves a limited selection for me to choose from. While it’s not identical, I own a jacket (the one from this post) similar to this leather moto jacket from Express, and it has easily been my favorite jacket I’ve ever owned. It fits just the way I like, and I feel comfortable wearing it anywhere.
4.) Headphones
As a musician and producer, a good, dependable pair of headphones is necessary in my life. Now, most people probably aren’t as particular about the sound they get from their headphones as I am, but I think everyone can appreciate the sound they’ll get from the Sennheiser CX200 Twist-to-Fit Earbuds. Admittedly, I might be a little biased, because I use Sennheiser headphones for everything. However, I think it’s hard to argue the quality you’ll get from these very reasonably-priced headphones.
5.) Cologne
Let’s be honest, every guy needs at least one cologne in their arsenal. With the thousands of different types on the market, how do you choose one? Well, everyone will have their own preference, but I’ve found Truth by Calvin Klein to be an affordable, yet high quality option that is highly effective.
6.) Shoes
You can never have too many pairs of shoes, right? It’s nice to have a variety to go along with different outfits, but I also like to have a go-to pair that’s a solid, neutral color that I can wear with anything. That pair for me lately has been my high top sneakers from UGG (see how I styled them here and here), but I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a pair of their Freamon Chukka Boots, as well. The boot comes in a nice selection of different colors and styles, so it offers something for just about everyone.
7.) Joggers
If you’ve already read this He Said, She Said post, then you’re well aware of my love for joggers. So, it only made sense to include them in this gift guide. A nice pair of joggers can be the most comfortable piece of clothing you’ll ever put on your body. There are many to choose from, but this pair from American Eagle literally made my legs feel like they were at a spa in the clouds.
8.) Sunglasses
A great gift for any time of the year is a nice pair of sunglasses. The problem is that it can be difficult to find a pair that’s stylish, durable, and affordable. No worries, however: Public Sunglasses has us all covered. The particular pair I’ve been rocking lately are their handcrafted, burl wood BRAYLEN glasses [c/o]. The best part? They’re unisex, so don’t feel guilty if you want to pick up a pair for yourself, too!
9.) Watch
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m extremely picky when it comes to wearing a watch. So much so to the point that I very rarely wear one because I have trouble finding one that I like aesthetically and that’s also comfortable. Lucky for me, the watch from Escape Watches [c/o] (that I wore here) is both of those things, and has quickly become one of my favorite accessories.
10) Amazon Echo
It can be tough to keep up with the ever-evolving technology of today’s world, but the Amazon Echo helps to bridge that gap. The device basically allows you to rule the world (okay, maybe a slight exaggeration) from the comfort of your own home, simply by talking to it the way you would a person. Along with all of the power it grants you, it’s actually quite affordable, and there is also a cheaper version in the form of the Echo Dot. Devices like this are here to stay, so it’s a good idea to pick one up now before you get left behind!
